Services
The community services component of the Village Health Foundation offers a variety of distinct health-related services, targeted at educating the community about the importance of maintaining good physical and mental health.

Seminars and programs are offered to educate the community about good health. Some of these programs include lectures on preventive education, HIV and AIDS, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, and other ailments that disproportionately affect communities of color.

An additional service that the VHF provides is mobile counseling at select community events. Oftentimes the VHF will send representatives to an event to give presentations, answer questions, and even provide select clinical services consisting of massages, AIDS treatment counseling, and counseling for healthy lifestyle changes. Most of the time, these services are free of charge.

The VHF also provides meeting space for community organizations at a nominal fee. We are committed to serving the needs of the community and have hosted many community groups in our spacious facility, saving them the cost and trouble of having to relocate to more-expensive facilities outside the community. Some of the organizations that currently meet at our facilities include Alcoholics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, and In the Meantime Men's Group. If you are interested in renting our facilities, please contact us at (323) 733-0471, or email us at info@villagehealthfoundation.org.
